PlanNING your visit

We know visiting a new church can be overwhelming. At New Life Apostolic Church (New Life), we are here to make your visit as welcoming as possible. If you’re planning to visit one of our services, here are a few questions that guests often ask:

What should I expect when I visit?

One thing we hope you will come to expect every time you join a service is this; you can expect to feel the presence of God in our services.

What time are your services?

On Sundays our worship services start at 10 AM, followed by adult and children’s services at 10:45 AM. On Wednesdays, we have excellent teaching services at 7 PM. On Saturdays, all are welcome to join us in prayer at 7 PM.

What should I wear?

At New Life, you will find people dressed in a variety of ways. Some come in jeans and a casual shirt, others might be in their “Sunday Best”. Feel free to dress casually or dress up, the choice is yours.

What will happen when I first arrive?

If it is your first time visiting, feel free to park anywhere in our front parking lot. You will be greeted and made comfortable by our welcoming team. You can expect to find many friendly people who are ready to answer any questions you may have. There is no designated seating area for our guests and, if you would like, we will be happy to seat you.

Where will my children go?

Bring your children into the sanctuary with you for worship service. When Sunday School is dismissed, your children are welcome to attend the classes along with the other children. If your children are uncomfortable with going to Sunday School, feel free to have them in the main sanctuary with you. Nursery care is also provided for children under the age of 3.

What is the worship service like?

We do not have a set “style” of worship. Rather, our music genre ranges from contemporary to gospel with traditional sometimes mixed in. We have a band of musicians and a praise team that sings each service.

You will see people worshiping God in a variety of ways. It is typically energetic and spirited, but we encourage you to worship in whatever way you feel comfortable. We believe that the most appropriate way to worship is with sincerity.

We do our best to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit during worship time. We do not always follow a schedule or a program. We believe one of the best qualities of New Life is allowing God to do what He wants to do, so we make room for that in our services.

What about the rest of the service?

There will be times in service where the congregation is invited to pray for needs that may be present. Don’t be alarmed if you hear people praying aloud. Some people pray quietly and others pray with great passion. However you pray is fine with us!

Our Ministerial Team preaches and teaches the Word of God with a lot of passion and energy. Their burden is to see lives changed. You will probably notice that other people are just as excited to hear the Word of God. We believe that the message will be both inspiring and relevant to your life.

How will the service end?

At the conclusion of the message, people generally respond through prayer and worship. Some will come to the front to pray together, others will pray individually at their seats. While everyone is encouraged to respond to God’s Spirit and Word, don’t worry – you’ll never feel pressured by us. We want everyone to seek after God at their own pace.
